About

Melissa was a Family Therapist for 28 years and currently owns Waco Hypnosis Center in Waco, Texas.

She uses her therapeutic background and secular or Faith-Based hypnosis (client’s choice) to help clients significantly decrease their anxiety and begin to enjoy their life the way God intends them to.

My aim is to deliver education, inspiration and entertainment to a variety of audiences. I strive to make every event a memorable experience, placing a large emphasis on delivering actionable content.

I do this by providing my audience with a variety of concrete, practical, usable tools that allow them to take some deep breathes, pause the panic, and start reprogramming their mental and emotional messages and habits.

40+ years as a Family Therapist, College Professor, and Consulting Hypnotist to provide expert advice and impactful motivation to start a new journey towards not only achieving their goals, but exceeding them.

B&W3.jpg

I work in the Residential Life department at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Before school begins for the fall semester we go through a 10-day training process for our 70+ Resident Assistants in order to prepare and equip them to do their jobs. We cover a variety of topics, one of them being Conflict Resolution, and I asked Dr. Rich if she could come and present this session. Our students found her engaging, relatable, funny, and knowledgeable about the subject matter. Our RA’s have already asked if she could come back next year as a presenter! I highly recommend Dr. Rich to anyone who is looking for a public speaker who is knowledgeable about her area of expertise and someone who is very relatable at the same time!

Taking Care of Your Temple
